If you're interested in having your product reviewed on The Organic Beauty Expert, please send me an email with your webstore link, as well as a short bio about your company.
Sending products does not constitute a guarantee of a positive review, so please understand that from the beginning. Blog reviews are unlike getting in a glossy magazine, where they just announce information regarding your product. I actually use the product then write the review based on my experience with the product. There is no guarantee that your review will be favorable and I do not accept paid posts and reviews.
The best way to know whether the product has been reviewed is to subscribe to our email list. I cannot guarantee that I will send you the link to the finished review.
Also, if you receive a review that is not as positive as you would have liked, please note that I don't offer follow up reviews with your comments.
REVIEW POLICY ::
I write the OBE and have two assistant reviewers for hair care and assorted body products. The niche for my blog is organic, natural, green and eco body and lifestyle products. Any information on launches or products can be emailed, preferably including hi-res product JPGs. No need to send media kits, but if you have an online media kit, password/username info is appreciated.
Additionally, I'm really keen on getting full ingredient listings, so if that info is handy somewhere, that would be great.
Be aware that I usually don't follow up with a link to the review, the review may take some months to post and submitting product does not constitute a guarantee of a positive review. Posts are aggregated on various sites, including the RSS feed, Twitter, Facebook, Widgetbox and Intent.com, so the blog serves readers worldwide and the reviews are honest and based on my personal experience with the product and my history and experience in the beauty business. Additionally, I also review products on the Green Beauty Review, which is showcased via video through YouTube and iTunes. Again, these reviews are either positive or negative, based on my experience with the product.
If you'd like to forward product, it is best to send a variety of full-size samples. Whatever you think best represents your line.
