These little piggies get ready for summer!
Summer is just around the corner and even though we here in sunny SoCal wear flip flops every day of the year, the rest of you are busting out the sexy open toe shoes. I don't know about you, but I hate seeing crusty, dry heels in sling backs, so here's my summer feet rescue list!
Ah Shayh Organic Coconut Oil, $15
If you were wearing pants to cover up dry legs, a little bit of this coconut oil will add some sheen to your legs and feet. Ah Shayh sells this big ol' 16 oz jar for just $15 bucks! You can't beat that price or the quality.
Gilden Tree Terra Cotta Foot Scrubber, $9
The Cadillac (or Prius, depending on your age and eco standards) of foot scrubbers is a must have before slipping on those sexy sling backs. Soak your feet in a bowl with marigolds and roses and a drop of Vitamin E for 10 minutes. Then use this scrubber to slough off that old skin, leaving you nothing but soft, smooth feet. Be sure to hit those heels and that spot on the big toe!
butter London 3 Free Nail Polish, $12
I have never been a w
oman who wears nail polish, not since I was 25 and had my daughter anyway. There never seemed to be time or a reason to paint my toe nails. Suddenly, at 35, I feel super sexy and have vowed to be my husband's girlfriend and this encourages me spritz on perfume before bed, wear my silky teddy and paint my nails to encourage some toe licking! Ladies, ladies, there's nothing more sexy for him (or her) or yourself, for that matter than painted toes in sandals that you bought on sale. butter London 3 Free has some super colors that last fairly well and you know they don't have those pesky little carcinogens in them. What more can you ask for?
Earth Therapeutics Foot Wipes, $5.99
First, lest I get THOSE comments, this product is preserved with parabens, so if you absolutely can't stomach that, this product isn't for you. For the rest of us, especially if you wear Croc's like I do, these foot wipes are a MUST HAVE. When I got these I was wondering if I'd really use them, and then
I had a super massage weekend with more than 20 clients and used these wipes on just about every one them. Then I used them on my feet and then used them to clean my Croc's and they are now a part of my signature foot massage treatment. They're handy, smell great, tingle my toes and makes my sweaty Croc feet manageable. Throw 'em in your bag and hit the shoe stores.
Feel free to leave your own foot and leg treats for other readers to enjoy or if you've used any of the above, please comment on how they worked for you.
