There's no stopping this Indie -- Pin Up Balm diva!

When I moved to San Diego two years ago, I immediately started teaching workshops through The Learning Annex on starting a beauty company and making your own products. One of my first classes had this woman with huge hair who blew in with a plan. I recall that she has five kids and wanted to be able to stay at home with them but also have a business of her own. Her original beauty plan didn't work out... but this woman is from Brooklyn, ya'll and you know how Brooklyn do!

A few weeks ago she sent me an email and I wanted to share it with all of you. Her sexy lip balm line, appropriately named Pin Up Balms, won the Lisa Kline Insider design contest on Style Hive. Not only did she win, but her line is now being sold in Lisa Kline's stores!
