If you're a frequent reader, you know I live and die by sample kits! They are the best way to experiment with new products without breaking the bank. And you know you love a product when you start wishing it was just a little bit bigger... as was the case when I used The Hair Care Survival Kit from Jane Carter Solution.

This company has been on my radar for about six years and was always on my list of  "products to try" but I just never got around to it. This kit offers a great introduction to her line and after using the products on my locs and my daughter's hair (she is multi-racial), I have to say the products are quite reasonably priced and offer wonderful results!

For my locs, the Nourish & Shine had me feeling like a crack baby with an empty pipe! My locs were so moisturized, without feeling heavy and greasy and this also worked wonders for my daughter's bg hair, as well. The Revitalizing Leave-In conditioner and Condition & Sculpt are definite must-haves for curly or kinky hair. Never was combing hair made easier than using these products, and best of all, no dry residue was left in our hair, as sometimes happens with leave-in products.
